The one thing GREAT leaders don't forget!

In his Boundaries for Leaders book, Dr. Henry Cloud makes this statement, “As a leadership coach, one of the questions I always ask myself is, 'Does this leader lead in a way that is compatible with humans?'”

Every time I read this question, I laugh at how simple, yet profound it is.

In the whirlwind leadership, it’s easy for leaders to forget that they are leading fellow people -- human beings with hopes and dreams, griefs and struggles.  These people are complex individuals (just like you and I) who have a lot more going on than what they present to others on the surface.

Yet, it’s what’s beneath the surface that’s most important.

If you are a part of a team, lead a team, or are looking to build greater levels of trust on your team, take three minutes and watch this video.

Great leaders don't forget to get to know their team.  And, leaders who don’t, do so to their detriment.

Let me ask you:

  1. Do you lead in a way that is compatible with humans?

  2. How well do you understand the members of your team?

I have solutions to help you better understand and build trust with your team.

We offer Everything DiSC Personality Profile assessments and trust-building courses like The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team
