  • Maybe you were presented with an opportunity – but didn’t know if it was right for you.

  • Maybe you lost something valuable and didn’t know how (or if it were possible) to get it back.

The feelings of confusion or frustration generated by these situations can be paralyzing – and they can get you stuck.

Have you ever felt stuck? Have you ever been locked in a dull rhythm or circumstance where you couldn’t find your way out? 

 

I know I have.  

 

I remember going through a season where I knew I needed a change but didn’t know what that change was. I remember feeling like I was going through the motions daily while slowly dying on the inside. That season was painful – and one that I won’t ever forget.

 

I’ve said it before – stuck stinks. So if you’re feeling stuck today, I empathize with you.

According to vocabulary.com, the word “stuck” describes something frozen or fixed in one place and can't be moved.


"Stuck" is that feeling you get when you're unable to gain traction. It's a paralysis of progress -- and many of us experience it from time to time. And this feeling keeps us from developing into our full potential, robs us of opportunities, and steals our joy.

Conflict is devastating because, in conflict, there is a breakdown in a relationship. This breakdown involves the disintegration of trust, empathy, and compassion for one another. Conflict, if left unchecked, can collapse a team, a family, and even an organization.
